Pamper day in Paphos

Well we are at the end of our holiday here in Paphos and no one wants to go home !!!!! we have all had a fantastic time, the hotel and staff were really friendly and helpful at all times.
The food was fantastic and there were lots of choices........ we have probably all put on the kilos.
We have been out each day to somewhere different and we hope that you have been following our activities on this blog daily to see what a brilliant place this is.
The weather has been glorious and have spent an afternoon at the pool but mostly our days were spent visiting places of interest.
This is our last day here so we decided to have a pamper day!!!!!!. Oh this was fun whilst the girls chose the detoxification spa therapy followed by waxing, the guys wanted to try out a back, and neck massage. They thought this was wonderful and felt great after this activity.
Tomorrow we are travelling home................ but we will be back next year.

Chilling out day........ We have had such a busy 5 days we decided today being Sunday would be a leisurely day. After a good walk to town and lunch we spent the rest of the afternoon by the pool......
This is the life!!!!!!

Archaeological park - Paphos

Today was very hot again but off we went to visit the Archaeological park which was enjoyed by all.
We were all amazed how hard people must have worked back in the 3rd-6th Century.
The dig has uncovered a huge town and most of the houses would have had mosaic floors which are still being found.

Birthday Girl - Cyprus October 14

Today was a special day for one of our guests and we helped her celebrate her 71st birthday.
We had been busy organizing surprises for her since we arrived and we made sure that she enjoyed the whole of the day.
This morning before breakfast we presented Pauline with a bag which our other guests had chosen for her. Pauline was thrilled with her gift.
After breakfast we set off to the harbour for another suprise for Pauline, a trip on a glass bottom boat.
This trip was fantastic and we saw the shipwreck of a Spanish ship which had sunk in the 1950's.
Pauline has a birthday lunch followed by a huge Ice Cream.
It has been another hot day here in Paphos and so we headed back to the hotel where we headed for the pool to cool down.
We had a fantastic night at the hotel where Pauline was presented with a birthday cake by the staff and everyone sang happy birthday. After a few tears from Pauline who assured us the tears were "Happy Tears" we tucked into the cake.
Pauline thanked Sue and |Kamila and our other guests for making this day special for her!!!!!!

Phaphos - Cyprus Oct 14

Hi folks here we are in Cyprus at last...... After landing very late we finally arrived safe and sound and all ready to start our holiday.
It is our first day here and the sun is shining for us!!!!! after a great breakfast we set off to explore and see what Phaphos has to offer.
